~ 1898 -1990 ~
From the time I was a young person, Minnie (my Grannie) told me family stories,
shared her old photographs, and helped me to understand who was related to who,
and told me more birth and death dates than anyone could believe she'd remember.
She never seemed to tire of my questions.
When she died, her wedding ring and
her photographs came to me.
She gave me the love, time, and her knowledge to
start this search.

Where The Future Remembers The Past

~ 1889 - 1973 ~
Marie Crawford Pease was my husband Alan's grandmother.
I never met her, but
through her life, she was the caretaker of very old, wonderful family portraits,
talked with family members, made notes, collected bits of papers, all the time
putting together information that she passed to her daughter, Dorothy.
Dorothy died in 1990 but shortly before her death, she passed along the portraits to
Alan and the information to me that became the large pieces of the puzzle that
opened the doors to Alan's marvelous ancestors.
